Progressive House Mix - March 2020

Second mix is much cleaner than the last. I spent a decent amount of time prepping the tracklist and order of tracks. I did a first attempt mixing with a cue pointing system. This trial run of the pre saved cue points made mixing tracks over 16 bars much easier. The 16 bar phrase transitions feel on the quick side for me. So I may explore 32 bar mixes between tracks in a future mix which means more looping & counting to match phrases. Also, some mixes were too busy which was caused by failing to isolate out overlapping EQ bands. Progress none the less with these progressive house tracks!

Mixed with a Pioneer DDJ-400.
